Someone told me that in order to get to Newfoundland in August, I have to start looking at booking my ferry now

Its not that I don’t think I’m actually going to go. I will be in Newfoundland in August - it’s just, my whole trip was supposed to be snap decisions, no deadlines. How can that happen if I know I have to be in one place at a certain time? My road trip buddies aren’t even confirmed yet. I don’t even know if my car will get me out there.Well no, it will. Roger’s great, but can I just not book a ferry now? Can I wait for the day and if I have to wait for another one, that’s fine?
